Ashley Fox, candidate for the Bridgwater constituency, took part in the recent General Election Hustings organised by the Bridgwater Chamber of Commerce.
The event provided a platform for candidates to engage directly with the local business community and discuss key issues impacting the Constituency.
Notably, the Labour candidate was once again missing from the hustings.
During the hustings, Ashley Fox addressed a range of critical questions from attendees. Topics included the significant funding shortfalls in both Somerset County Council and Bridgwater Town Council budgets and how to support local authorities, economic strategies to support local businesses, corporate tax policies, and improvements to digital infrastructure in rural areas.
Ashley Fox emphasised his commitment to supporting the local business community if elected on 4th of July, "Engaging with our local businesses and understanding their challenges is crucial for the growth and sustainability of the Bridgwater Constituency. I am dedicated to working closely with business leaders and the Chambers of Commerce to unlock opportunities and create a strong and healthy economic environment."
