Paul Mills is standing as the Conservative Party candidate in the forthcoming Burnham-On-Sea & Highbridge Town Council by-election for the Burnham and Highbridge Central ward.
Local business man Paul Mills is standing to represent you on the Town Council. If elected, Paul's main aim is to make Burnham a more attractive town to help our local economy grow. Having his own small business, Paul understands the struggle that others face and the importance of growth within the town without it losing its appeal. Paul wants to work closely with Better BOS (The Town Board) and the retail group to ensure that the economy grows, and the retailers grow with it.
"The town has been a tourist destination for many years and to lose that would be scandalous. There are amazing people within the town, who want to help to make visitors and residents lives better, I will work along side everyone to help make our Town a destination that all will want to visit”
Anti-social behaviour is becoming a huge problem in parts of the Central ward, especially around the Town Centre and play areas. Paul has been speaking with retailers about this problem and welcomes the idea of a camera system around the whole town centre. He will work with the retail group to get the funding it needs to bring this idea to fruition.
Paul is the only candidate who lives in Burnham and who has a clear plan on how to improve Burnham for all residents.
